Reliance Infrastructure
has posted a 6% Yoyo jump in its September quarter profits to Rs 382
crore on timely execution of projects. The company's Delhi Agra toll road
became operational during the quarter along with the commissioning of extra
voltage sub-station in Mumbai. Simultaneously, the company's power distribution
segment added 17,800 customers in Mumbai and 47,400 customers in Delhi. A
tariff hike was also implemented in Delhi during the quarter.
Operating income from operations declined to Rs 5515 crore
from Rs 5729 crore,YoY. Meanwhile, shares of the company declined 2.15% to Rs
477 post the earnings announcement.
