Real estate firm Puravankara Projects ' consolidated net profit jumped 89.4 percent
to Rs 50.2 crore in the second quarter of current financial year from Rs 26.5
crore in a year ago period.
Consolidated total income increased 38 percent to Rs 273
crore from Rs 198 crore during the same period.
In an interview with CNBC-TV18, the COO, Jackbastian
Nazareth said realisations have gone up to Rs 4,061 per sq ft in the quarter.
"We are on track to meet 3 million sq ft sales in FY13."
At 14:18 hours IST, the stock, which touched a 52-week high
of Rs 88.70, rallied 15 percent to Rs 88.45 amid extremely large volumes on the
Bombay Stock Exchange.
