State-controlled oil retailer Hindustan Petroleum Corporation
(HPCL) has reported a net profit of Rs 2,327 crore in the second quarter of
current financial year as against loss of Rs 3,364.5 crore in a year ago
period.
Net sales increased 30.9 percent to Rs 48,463.9 crore from
Rs 37,030.23 crore during the same period.
The stock fell 1.78 percent to close at Rs 301.45 on the
Bombay Stock Exchange.
