Jyothy Laboratories ' net profit grew 21% year-on-year
to Rs 27.9 crore for the fourth quarter of FY12 and net sales went up 40.3% to
Rs 218.9 crore.
EBIDTA margin improved at 16.6% for the January-March
quarter of 2012 as against 11.7% in the corresponding period of last year.
For the fiscal year 2011-12, its net profit was at Rs 83.5
crore as against Rs 80.3 crore in FY11.
Net sales during the period rose 10.5%
to Rs 662.8 crore as compared to Rs 599.8 crore in the year-ago period.
Segmental performance in Q4 as per press release
Soaps & detergents business, which includes fabric
whitener, fabric detergent, surface cleaning products and soaps, rose 46% over
last year to Rs 137 crore during the quarter.
Home Care, which includes mosquito coils, scrubber and
incense sticks saw the revenues for the quarter going up by 32.3% to Rs 82
crore YoY.
Jyothy Fabricare Services (JFSL), a 75% subsidiary of JLL,
has 122 operational outlets across Bangalore, Chennai, Pune and Delhi NCR.
Jyothy Labs approved bonus issue in the ratio of 1-for-1.
