Himalya International India & J R Simplot Company , USA have signed memorandum of understanding to form joint venture in India. The JV will market Himalya's frozen French fries, breaded & battered appetizers and snacks.
Simplot will also provide technical assistance for growing specialty potatoes and processing of all products.
The stock was at 23.45, up 10.35 per cent on the BSE. It touched a high of Rs 23.90 and low of Rs 22.45 in trade so far.
