DENIP’s Seminar at K.J. Somaiya College

On the 9^th of July, 2010, DENIP Consultants conducted a free workshop at K.J. Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce, between 9A.M. to 11A.M. Around 150 students were present at the seminar.

Young minds aspire to make it big in the future and make money. But little do they think about the need and importance of financial planning. They need to be guided to plan and save for their future at an earlier stage. The workshop thus, aimed at educating the youth about the various financial aspects and explaining to the students, the need for financial planning. It also covered various other topics like:-

• Investment – Definition & Importance.
• Equity & Derivatives.
• Mutual Funds.
• Insurance.
• Company FD / Bank FD
• Tax planning

The workshop was an interactive session between our eminent speaker, Mr.Nimesh Marfatia and the students. Mr.Nimesh Marfatia gave a presentation on the above topics, along with the current facts and figures.

The young and enthusiastic minds were all keen to grasp and discover ways to enhance their life and futures. The question /answer session followed towards the end of the seminar, wherein the students’ doubts were cleared. Free material like charts, tables, pamphlets, etc. was distributed.

This could become a successful venture, thanks to the kind co-operation of Mr. Mule and John sir, with whom Mr. Mayur Naik and Ms. Mousmi Dedhia from DENIP Consultants coordinated and hence, organized the seminar. DENIP’s motto has been to spread awareness, & hence impart knowledge to students, who are the future leaders of our country, by means of conducting an informative workshop.
