Arvind Q2 net profit rises 4% to Rs 65 cr


Arvind  's consolidated net profit rose by 4.3 percent year-on-year to Rs 65 crore in the second quarter of current financial year. It has reported a foreign exchange loss of Rs 17.4 crore during the quarter.

Consolidated total income grew by 5.6% to Rs 1,324.6 crore from Rs 1,254.3 crore during the same period.

Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) margin 190 basis points year-on-year to 12.4 percent.

At 14:34 hours IST, the share price fell 1.2 percent to Rs 77.55 amid large volumes on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
