Apollo Tyres has reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 78 crore in the second quarter of FY12, a growth of 47.2% as compared to Rs 53 crore in the corresponding quarter of last fiscal.
Consolidated revenues jumped 47.38% to Rs 2,871 crore from Rs 1,948 crore during the same period.
In an interview with CNBC-TV18, the management said margins would improve next quarter. "Margins have bottomed out this quarter. Europe busines posted 43% growth this quarter," the company said.
