Reliance MF launches Small Cap Fund

Reliance Mutual Fund has launched Reliance Small Cap Fund, an open-ended equity scheme. The investment objective of the sacheme is to generate long term capital appreciation by investing predominantly in equity and equity related instruments of small cap companies and the secondary bjective is to generate consistent returns by investing in debt and money market securities.

The new fund offer (NFO) opens for subscription on August 26, 2010, and closes on September 10, 2010

Scheme Features:
Investment options: Growth, Dividend and Bonus
The Dividend Option has Dividend Payout & Dividend Reinvestment facility.

Minimum Investment Amount: Rs. 5000 and in multiples of Rs 1 thereafter

NFO Price: Rs. 10/- face value during the New Fund Offer Period

Load structure during NFO period:

Entry Load: Nil

Exit Load: 2% If redeemed or switched out on or before completion of 12 months from the date of allotment of units.

Asset Allocation: The scheme will invest 65% - 100% in Equity & Equity Related Securites of small cap companies including derivatives. 0% - 35% in Equity & Equity Related Securites of any other companies including derivatives. 0% - 35% in debt & money market securities (including investments in securitized debt upto 30%)
