Nirma has reported a net profit of Rs 27 crore for the quarter ended December 2010, down 60% as compared to Rs 68.7 crore in same period the previous year.
Revenues were up by 5.8% at Rs 802 crore from Rs 758 crore.
EBITDA margin declined at 12.3% versus 18.9% as total expenditure went up by 13% at Rs 772 crore from Rs 683 crore and consumption of raw material up by 8.6% at Rs 317 crore from Rs 292 crore (YoY).
